During the Congress, President of the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation Erkin Okasov awarded a number of specialists contributing to the development of wrestling disciplines in the country with the medal “For Contribution to the Development of Wrestling.”
Among the awardees were coaches and specialists working in Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s wrestling: Zhumakhan Turgambekov, Zhumash Imanbayev, Marat Mukhambetov, Gabiden Raiymbek, Tolegen Dyussembayev, Sagyndyk Bisembayev, Bektai Khasenov, Berik Alimov, Nauannur Bakbergenuly, Vladislav Sutormin and Nurzhigit Yerimbetov.
Erkin Kadyrgaliuly noted their contribution to the development of national wrestling, the upbringing of young athletes and the formation of national teams, and wished them success in their future work.
Certificates were also presented to the heads of regional federations.
