Sixty Kazakhstani wrestlers will compete at the Asian Championships in wrestling among the U15 and U20 age categories, which will start on June 27 in Pattaya, Thailand.
Team Kazakhstan will represent the country in two age categories across three wrestling styles. The team includes 30 wrestlers in the U15 category and 30 wrestlers in the U20 category.
According to the competition program, athletes in each age category and each style will compete in 10 weight categories. The U15 team includes wrestlers born in 2011–2013, while the U20 team includes athletes born in 2006–2008. This tournament will be one of the key tests at the Asian level for young athletes.
Together with the team, 28 coaches, 1 medical staff member and 8 referees will travel to Thailand. All participants have been officially registered for the competition.
