The Belneftekhim Women’s Cup 2026, an international team tournament in women’s wrestling for U23 athletes, has concluded in Mozyr, Belarus.
Team Kazakhstan competed in Group B alongside Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus-2, and advanced to the bronze medal match after the group stage.
In the third-place match, Kazakhstan and Türkiye each claimed five victories, leaving the team score tied at 5:5. In accordance with the competition regulations, the winner was determined by additional criteria. Türkiye came out ahead on classification points, 22:20, and secured the bronze medals.
As a result, Kazakhstan’s U23 women’s team finished the international tournament in fourth place.
