Today, nine members of Kazakhstan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team will take to the mat at the ranking tournament held as part of the Polyák Imre, Varga János and Kozma István Memorial.
Greco-Roman wrestling:
55 kg — Alpamys Dastanbek, Iskhar Kurbayev, Marlan Mukashev
60 kg — Yerbol Kamaliyev, Yernur Fidakhmetov
82 kg — Demeu Zhadyraev
97 kg — Islam Yevloyev
130 kg — Alimkhan Syzdykov, Olzhas Syrlybay
From 15 to 18 July, Team Kazakhstan won ten medals at the international ranking tournament: two gold, two silver and six bronze. Seven medals came in freestyle wrestling, two in women’s wrestling and one in Greco-Roman wrestling.

2nd place — Nurkozha Kaipanov (74 kg)
3rd place — Meyrambek Kartbay (57 kg)
3rd place — Nurdanat Aitanov (57 kg)

Women’s wrestling:
2nd place — Zhamila Bakbergenova (72 kg)
