A solemn opening ceremony of the Kazakh National Sports University was held in Astana. The event was attended by Chairman of the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation Erkin Kadyrgaliuly, United World Wrestling President Nenad Lalovic, UWW Vice President and UWW Africa President Fouad Meskout, as well as UWW Asia President Mohammed Al-Awamleh.
During the ceremony, the distinguished guests were introduced to the university’s modern infrastructure. They were shown advanced technologies to be integrated into the educational process and research activities, training and learning facilities for athletes and future specialists, as well as new opportunities aimed at developing professional personnel.
During the tour, it was noted that the university will place special emphasis on improving the quality of sports education, developing scientific research and introducing international best practices. It was also emphasized that the new university will help train highly qualified coaches, sports managers, referees, researchers and other industry specialists.
The opening of the Kazakh National Sports University marks an important step in the development of the country’s sports education system. The new university is expected to give fresh impetus to the scientific, methodological and professional development of national and Olympic sports.
