The Kazakhstan U20 freestyle wrestling team is currently taking part in a joint training camp in Kislovodsk, Russian Federation, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Asian Championships.
Approximately 70 wrestlers from Kazakhstan and Russia are participating in the training process. During the camp, athletes are improving their technical and tactical skills while gaining valuable competitive experience through sparring sessions with high-level opponents.
This training camp represents the second stage of Kazakhstan’s preparation for the Asian Championships. The final stage of preparation will take place in Almaty. Following that, the team will travel to Thailand, where the U20 Asian Wrestling Championships will be held at the end of June.
According to the coaching staff, preparations are progressing according to plan. Joint training camps provide an excellent opportunity for athletes to enhance their wrestling skills and raise their competitive level ahead of the continent’s premier youth wrestling event.
The U20 Asian Championships will take place in Thailand at the end of June and will bring together the best young wrestlers from across Asia.
