During the latest day of competition, the final medals in women’s wrestling were awarded, while freestyle wrestlers also began their campaign.
Maiis Aliev claimed the gold medal in the 70 kg weight category, becoming an Asian champion.
Meanwhile, Elaman Amangeldy (57 kg), Altyn Shagayeva (57 kg), and Tynys Dubek (62 kg) each earned silver medals for Kazakhstan.
As a result, Kazakhstan’s team now has a total of 16 medals at the tournament: four gold, eight silver, and four bronze.
Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Aibek Aitbekov (60 kg) and Islam Evloev (97 kg), as well as women’s wrestler Shugyla Omirbek (55 kg), also won gold medals for the national team.
