Representatives of the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation held a meeting with TAISHAN representatives as part of preparations for the World Championship, which will take place in Astana in October 2026.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the provision of wrestling mats and sports equipment, compliance with technical requirements, and further cooperation to ensure the event is organized at a high level.
Both sides emphasized the importance of building infrastructure that meets international standards and outlined the key areas of joint work for the successful organization of the tournament.
This meeting marked one of the important stages in the preparations for the World Championship in Astana.
As a reminder, the Senior World Championships in Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s wrestling will be held from October 24 to November 1 at the Barys Arena ice rink.
